The Rabbit Strip Leech is defined by its full-length rabbit fur strip, which forms both the body and tail of the pattern. The hide-backed strip absorbs water and creates a dense, flowing profile that moves continuously even in minimal current. Fur fibers pulse and collapse naturally during pauses, then expand again on movement, producing a smooth, uninterrupted swimming action. The strip is secured along the shank to maintain alignment and prevent rolling. Weighting, when incorporated, is kept subtle and positioned to preserve a horizontal swimming posture. The natural taper of the rabbit strip eliminates the need for excessive additional materials, resulting in a clean silhouette with consistent motion throughout the retrieve.
