Messinger Frog is constructed around a high-buoyancy foam body designed to sit low in the surface film while remaining fully afloat. The body profile is slightly elongated, allowing the fly to track straight during retrieves without rolling or tipping. Soft rubber legs extend from the rear of the body and are positioned to trail naturally, producing continuous secondary movement even when the fly is paused. The foam material resists water absorption, maintaining consistent flotation over repeated casts. Hook placement is recessed into the body to preserve alignment and reduce interference with surface travel. This design creates a stable surface frog capable of smooth, controlled movement across open water and light surface cover.
