Fire Starter Jig Perdigon Barbless

Fire Starter Jig Perdigon Barbless is a highly visible Perdigon-style nymph designed for fast-sinking subsurface presentations and modern Euro nymphing techniques. Its slim, streamlined body cuts efficiently through the current, allowing the fly to reach productive feeding depths quickly. A slotted tungsten bead provides substantial weight while maintaining the compact profile characteristic of Perdigon patterns. The bright fire-orange colour profile and contrasting dark wing case create a strong visual target, making the pattern particularly effective in off-coloured or low-light water. A Coq de Leon tail adds fine movement and a natural trailing profile to the otherwise streamlined body. Its smooth UV-resin coating creates a durable, hydrodynamic finish that helps the fly penetrate the water column efficiently. The barbless jig-style construction makes it well suited to modern competition and catch-and-release nymphing. Fire Starter Jig Perdigon Barbless combines rapid sink rate, high visibility, and a streamlined profile for demanding trout nymphing situations.
