Carl’s Cicada is designed to replicate the size, shape, and surface behavior of a true cicada, using a carefully proportioned foam body that delivers dependable flotation with a grounded presentation. The rounded body shape mirrors natural insect proportions, while segmented detailing adds depth and definition. An integrated foam indicator enhances visibility while remaining visually unobtrusive to fish. Flexible rubber legs extend laterally to introduce constant micro-movement during both dead drifts and controlled twitches. Proper weight distribution keeps the fly riding upright and stable, even after impact. Built with reinforced materials, Carl’s Cicada maintains structural integrity and consistent surface performance through repeated surface takes.
