Croston’s Jig Pin is a minimalist jig streamer designed with precision and efficiency in mind. The fly features a slim, tapered baitfish profile created using sparse synthetic materials that move freely and maintain a clean outline underwater. Its jig-hook construction ensures the fly rides hook-point up, reducing snagging and allowing confident bottom-oriented presentations. Subtle flash elements are incorporated to add attraction without overpowering the natural appearance. The lightweight, balanced design allows the Jig Pin to respond instantly to small rod movements and current changes. This pattern excels in technical water where controlled depth, refined motion, and realistic proportions are critical.
