The Fritz Zonker Olive is built around a soft olive rabbit zonker strip that provides continuous movement along the full length of the fly, even during slow retrieves or pauses. The body is wrapped with olive fritz material, adding controlled bulk and a slightly translucent texture that increases the fly’s profile without excessive weight. This fritz body traps air and water simultaneously, giving the pattern a fuller appearance while maintaining flexibility in the water. The olive coloration offers a balanced, natural tone that blends effectively with both clear and lightly stained conditions. A compact head finish keeps the materials aligned, ensuring the zonker strip tracks straight and maintains a consistent swimming posture during retrieves.
