The Ice Cream Cone Bright Red from Aquinaflies is one of the most effective stillwater chironomid patterns ever developed. Its slim red body imitates bloodworm and midge pupa stages, while the signature white “cone” head provides excellent visibility and attracts feeding trout.

Tied with precision using high-quality materials and durable hooks, this fly excels when suspended under an indicator or fished slowly in deep or shallow stillwater environments. Trout key heavily on midges year-round, and this bright red Ice Cream Cone offers outstanding strike rates in clear and murky water alike.

At Aquinaflies, we supply these chironomid flies at wholesale prices per dozen, with availability for custom color variations and bulk orders for fly shops, guides, and distributors worldwide. Expect consistent quality, durability, and perfect proportions—every time.

Ideal for stillwater trout, rainbow trout, brown trout, and lake fisheries targeting chironomid hatches.
