The Kaufmann’s Stonefly Nymph – Brown is a classic, highly effective pattern designed to imitate natural stonefly nymphs found in rivers and freestone streams. Its realistic profile, durable materials, and weighted design make it ideal for fishing deep runs, pocket water, and fast currents where trout actively feed near the bottom.

This brown variation closely matches natural stonefly species, making it a reliable choice year-round, especially during pre-hatch and high-water conditions. Fish it on a dead drift, under an indicator, or as part of a euro-nymph or tandem rig for consistent results.

Hand-tied with attention to durability and balance, this fly performs well for both recreational anglers and commercial buyers. Bulk and wholesale pricing is available for fly shops, guides, and outfitters.
