The Pine Squirrel Zonker utilizes ultra-soft, thin squirrel fur strips to create continuous, lifelike motion with every strip or swing. Its natural markings provide subtle contrast and mimic small fish in fast or deep waters. A tapered body ensures a streamlined action, while water-resistant materials maintain shape and performance through repeated strikes and casting. The fly’s clear, cured head holds the wing securely, preserving both action and durability. Designed for mountain streams or fast-moving rivers, the Pine Squirrel Zonker combines a slender, flowing profile with natural undulation, making it highly effective for enticing predatory fish that respond to subtle, realistic streamer movements.
