Purple Peril
$4.89 / DOZEN
Description
The Purple Peril is a masterclass in visual provocation, specifically designed to stand out in the green-tinted or slightly "misty" waters of coastal rivers. Its deep violet body, typically wrapped in shimmering tinsel, provides a solid, dark profile that fish can track easily from below, while the bright white or silver wing offers a high-vis "flash" to trigger the strike. Tied on a heavy-wire hook for maximum durability, this fly is a reliable producer for both summer and winter runs, offering a timeless aesthetic that bridges the gap between traditional aesthetics and modern performance.
