Rainy’s Ultimate Cicada is built around a precision-molded foam body that delivers consistent flotation while maintaining a realistic, low-riding surface posture. The body profile accurately reflects the broad, rounded proportions of a natural cicada, creating a strong silhouette that is easily visible from below. Subtle body segmentation and surface texturing enhance realism without introducing unnatural shine. Flexible rubber legs extend from the sides to generate continuous secondary movement during pauses and light twitches. The fly’s face produces controlled water displacement rather than aggressive splash, allowing for precise surface presentations. Balanced hook placement ensures the fly lands upright and remains stable after impact. Durable construction methods allow the fly to maintain shape and performance through repeated surface strikes.
